Training Scholarships

Greatest areas of need include scholarships for local search and rescue teams. Bringing in coaches and continuing education is expensive and the majority of the search dog handlers in the nation are volunteers.

• $500-travel grant for a PoL Coach to train with a SAR dog team
• $1,000-complete coaching package, including travel and per diem for a PoL Coach to work with a SAR dog team for two days
• $5,000-several PoL Coaching events or funding of a seminar with nationally known trainers for working dogs
• $10,000-funding of a seminar with nationally known trainers that includes scholarships for up to 6 working dog attendees

Getting education and the right dogs to the working dog professionals who find our missing family members is the goal. We can do it with your help. Please donate now.

Yes, we will target our educational seminars for your area, if you would like to be a sponsor of a seminar in your area, please contact us and we will work with you to contact the area teams, identify their training needs and organize the seminar. If you are a SAR team and would like to host a PoL seminar, please contact us and we will work with you to assist in fundraising and booking the instructor. Recommendations provided upon request.
